Have you ever come across that you wanted to brighten up an under-exposed photograph? Or you wanted to crop away the pimple on your face?! The use of a digital camera has gone high tech that we can edit the photos digitally using professional Software like Photoshop or other photo editing software.  Having photo editing skill is essential as you can easily tweak your photos and share your photos in your Facebook or if you are planning to setup a blogshop to sell things, you need this skill to do up interesting banners.

Ivy doing a makeup for a bride

Ivy is a Taiwanese PR in Singapore. She is currently a Freelance Makeup Artist.  She needed someone who can converse in Mandrain and the first criteria she asked me if I can understand Mandarain?! Luckily my Chinese isn’t that bad. So we managed to converse quite well during the whole process of setting up her website. She knows exactly what kind of website she needs in term of colour and mood. I managed to showcase her a few samples before she decided to hand over this project to me. I was quite happy as everything turned out quite well in the end.

I can still remember they were a bunch of playful girls and also a small group of hardworking students. Luckily I had an assistant trainer with me, who was exhausted at the end of the whole training. It wasn’t easy to teach these Secondary 2 students. Anyway some of the students managed to create some pretty decent posters.

‘When we started this company our goal was to build a search engine that not only let you do your usual searches but also lets you do searches that you just can’t do anywhere else,’ Blekko chief executive Rich Skrenta said. Blekko employs a feature it calls ‘slashtags’ to allow users to narrow down their searches to only the most trusted and most relevant sites, cutting out spam sites and sites of poor quality.

‘A slashtag is a tool to filter search results,’ Blekko said. ‘Rather than searching the entire Web, a slashtag allows you to search just the sites you want searched.’ Mr Skrenta said Blekko produces the most relevant results by allowing users to create slashtags that create lists of recommended sites.

‘Not everyone has to participate for the model to work – most people don’t edit Wikipedia, yet we have a vast encyclopaedia which long ago dwarfed the closed Britannica,’ he said. ‘But a small fraction of the Web audience that does get involved can help make the search experience better for everyone else.’

Blekko also pledged full transparency with its search ranking data, showing how it ranks sites for any particular query.

– I have tried it and I type in “Singapore budget web design” and surprised to find my website – www.cre8tion.com listed No. 4. I realised the results isn’t showing the same as Google.com, check it out here - Blekko.com.

for one moment i thought the mouse casing was broken!

I was looking at some computer mouse reviews online and I saw this cool looking mouse. Before I click on the thumbnail image to view it in larger photo, I thought the mouse was broken in the first place! Wow…it sure looks very cool if you own this mouse for your gaming purpose.

I have been shopping around for a computer mouse in Singapore, and I have not seen this in computer stores here. Curious on how much it cost, I went to Amazon.com to search.

My iPhone 4G from Starhub

I just got my mobile plan recontract at Starhub Plaza Singapura. And I have pick an iPhone 4G. Was choosing between htc desire and iPhone. Decided to go ahead with iPhone instead. Now I’m typing this blog post using iPhone.
It’s doing great. Speed is good but still trying to get use the typing keypad. I’m keen to test out the camera. Will update soon.
